Ashanti Douglas, also known as Ashanti was was born in Glen Cove New York United States on 13th October 1980. Ashanti is an United States singer, songwriter as well as an actress. Ashanti is a teen actor and singer American, was signed by Murder Inc. Records to release a single in 2002. The same year she also appeared in Fat Joe's What's Luv? The singer also featured on Fat Joe's song What's Luv?! and Ja Rules' track Always on Time, both of which were huge hits. In the year she debuted her debut single"What's Luv in the top two spots at the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States and Foolish at #1 and Foolish being her first single, she was the only female to achieve this feat. In her debut song Foolish, DeBarge's Stay With Me that was recorded in 1983 is sung. Ashanti has released her debut album, which was titled "Ashanti", in 2002 under Irv Getti's Murder Inc. Record Label. The Declaration the fourth studio album was released on June 3 2008. Hey Baby was released for radio and on digital platforms on 16 October 2009. She was a part of the films Christmas in the City as in Army Wives. Aitch was a sampler of Rock wit U in his Baby 10th March 2022 song.
